Allison Arthur, M.D.
Dr. Arthur is no stranger to Houston. She was raised in the North Houston suburb of Humble, TX. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX in 1998. Dr. Arthur obtained her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, TX in 2002. She then pursued her dream to become a pediatric physician at the University of Texas at Houston Medical School, where she completed her Pediatric Residency in 2005. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been in private practice in the Cypress- Fairbanks area since 2005.
Dr. Arthur has also worked part-time in the Emergency Room prior to starting a full-time pediatric medical practice. She served a casual faculty member for the University of Texas Medical School Department of Emergency Medicine, where she cared for urgently ill children in the emergency room at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital and Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. She also took an active role in teaching medical students and young physicians about pediatric care.
Dr. Arthur's particular interests include Newborn and Neonatal Care, Pediatric Health and Wellness, Pediatric Obesity Management, Allergy and Asthma Management, Pediatric Dermatologic Conditions, Pediatric Minor Emergency and Urgent Care, and Hospital Inpatient Management.
Dr. Arthur is happily married to her husband of 9 years. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing with her two Labrador Retrievers, and keeping in shape with yoga and pilates when she gets a free moment.
